Mazda Premacy Hydrogen RE Hybrid

Among the high-end Mazda parts the Premacy has, the hydrogen rotary engine stands out. Almost similar to a hybrid vehicle, this four-wheel machine from Mazda is powered by two sources. Instead of just running on gasoline, a special kind of water is also utilized for this vehicle to work. With these two sources working together, the production of that much needed horsepower is achieved efficiently. The electricity produced from the hydrogen combustion is the one used to make the motor parts of the engine work.

According to Mazda, the Premacy Hydrogen RE Hybrid is more efficient in terms of speeding up as well as burning the mixture inside the engine compared with the Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen. Aside from all those inner workings of the vehicle, the Premacy is more spacious and is capable of having as much as five people plus some cargos.

The Tokyo Motor Show, which is now on its 40th year, is not just a display of various concept vehicles as it also allow guests to have the first-hand driving experience with some selected cars, like the Mazda RX-8 Hydrogen RE. The event will be open until the 11th of November.

Mazda 2008 CX-9

From an SUV pool consisting of 11 brands, which includes a Toyota Land Cruiser and a Nissan Rouge, the 2008 Mazda CX-9 proved its sport utility ruggedness as it was hailed as the top SUV for this year by Motor Trend magazine.

The latest medium-built vehicle from the Japanese automaker will be part of the November issue of Motor Trend, which is one of the longest running automobile magazines.

“We wondered if it would be possible for Mazda to inject its sports car DNA into their first-ever three-row crossover, a crossover that happened to be one of the largest in the lineup,” said Angus MacKenzie, who is the editor-in-chief of Motor Trend.

Mazda’s latest SUV offering boasts of high-performing Mazda Parts, like the six-cylinder 3.7-liter engine that is capable of producing as much as 273 ponies. In just 7.8 seconds, this mean four-wheel machine can jump from zero to 60 miles per hour.

Mazda 6

Mazda 6 is just in time for Christmas shopping as this latest offering from the Japanese automaker comes out in dealerships worldwide this December.

The tag price of the new and improved Mazda 6 has yet to be disclosed halfway into November, according to the company behind the Zoom Zoom mantra. Meanwhile, Mazda has already released some details, which are mostly focused about the engine.

Among the notable Mazda Parts installed, the engines of the Mazda 6 are worth mentioning. Most of the specs distributed in publications focused on the power plants, which is available in either a diesel or a petrol-powered one. A Mazda 6 running on petrol (five-speed transmission gear box) can have either a 1.8-liter or a 2-liter engine. The car equipped with a diesel engine, which is partnered with a six-speed transmission, has a bigger engine compartments of 2-liter. The diesel engine is complemented with either a five-speed automatic shift console or a six-speed manual shift. This engine range has ponies playing around 119 to 140-horsepower.

For those hungry for a decent speed with more power, the Mazda 6 will suit the best because it is also available with a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine compared to the old Mazda 6’s 2.3-liter engine predecessor. Such auto part, which has a ceiling speed of 132 miles per hour via the six-speed stick shift, is capable of producing power as much as 168-horsepower. In just 8.3 seconds, this mean four-wheel machine can jump from zero to 62 miles per hour.

To best suit the taste of future owners, Mazda 6 will have three body types, which are the estate, saloon, and hatchback. Moreover, to take the vehicle up a few more notch, special add-on Mazda Parts like the bluetooth, a Bose sound system, or a satellite navigation system can be installed.

Modified c-charge’s positive effects on Mazda 2

Tuesday, October 16th, 2007

The Transport for London (TfL), which is a local government arm, is considering implementing a congestion charge that focuses on the vehicle’s emission. If such plan pushes through, it could increase the Mazda 2 Superminis’ popularity as motorists would likely go for diesel-powered engines, according to the marketing director of Mazda in the United Kingdom.

“Lots of cities are looking at rolling out a similar congestion charging scheme as London. If they choose the same model as the one London is proposing, where cars with Carbon dioxide emissions of less than 120g/km will be exempt, we expect there will be a growth in demand for the diesel,” said Mark Cameron.

Mazda 2 Supermini

A driver of a Mazda 2 Supermini, which has a minimum Carbon dioxide emission, does not have to pay anything whenever entering areas under the congestion charge law. Thanks to precision-engineered Mazda Parts, especially the 1.4-liter diesel-powered engine and air filter, the new Supermini is able to answer the requirement of the possible modified congestion charge. The Mazda 2 user can now get to go in and out of Central London for free. Those motorists that use noxious gas-emitting vehicles, like those that have petrol-powered power plants, however, have to pay certain amounts to pass through.

If buying a greener car, like the Mazda 2 Supermini, is out of the picture, one can just opt to use the public transportations, such as trains, buses, and cabs. Such solution, which promotes usage of the public means to travel, is actually one of the goals of the present congestion charge. The other goal is to prevent overcrowded London streets.

While the modified congestion charge is still in the works, drivers of private automobiles that are entering areas under the said law still have to pay certain amounts to get through.

3 Mazda Vehicle to debut at the Tokyo Motor Show

Friday, October 12th, 2007

It seems that everyone is looking forward on what Mazda has in store at the Tokyo Motor Show that will happen later this month. It is said that Mazda will showcase two of their most awaited cars at the Tokyo Motor Show. These cars are powered by rotary engines. The Taiki sports car and the Premacy Hydrogen RE Hybrid features a transversely mounted hydrogen rotary engine and is especially designed to run on hydrogen and petrol. Many people believe that these cars will pave the way to more environment friendly vehicles. And with the erratic price of fuel, having vehicles that is not that dependent on fuel is really something.

The Taiki is the fourth in the Nagare design theme. It is geared with the next generation Renesis rotary 16X engine. The main catch about the Taiki is its unique design. Many awaits it for it is Mazda’s attempt to capture the flow of air. The design itself serves as Mazda’s take on how air flows and it is inspired by the folds of the robes in ancient times. As for the Premacy Hydrogen RE Hybrid, it is run by a hybrid powertrain that has the capacity to convert energy from hydrogen combustion. By the name of the vehicle itself, we already know its main feature. It makes use of hydrogen in order to have the horsepower it needs. Through hydrogen combustion that is converted to electricity, the Premacy is able to provide power to the motor.

Aside from the Taiki and the Premacy Hydrogen RE Hybrid, the Tokyo Motor Show will also feature the Mazda 6 with large front and rear aero bumpers, a grille as well as side spoilers that give it a rather sporty look.
